Director of Sales and Marketing

Business Unit:  The Repulse Bay
Location:  Hong Kong

The Repulse Bay is seeking to hire a seasoned Director of Sales and Marketing to lead the team, with the primary efforts of driving revenue growth whilst elevating this owned asset’s brand proposition, offerings and operations. Working alongside operational and corporate leaders, you will be part of a core team that maintain the legacy and heritage related to this high quality residential, commercial and hospitality operations on the world-famous Repulse Bay, taking advantage of this unique operation to target customers (tenancy, food & beverage and retail arcade patronage), as well as ensure the team is coached and motivated to achieve KPI, revenue optimisation, and marketing channel strategic objectives.

  • Create and lead a Sales & Marketing strategic efforts to ensure the sustained positioning of The Repulse Bay as the premier residential complex in Hong Kong
  • Develop innovative sales strategies to proactively close catering and event contracts, maximising revenue opportunities and positioning the venue as a top choice for weddings and corporate partnership events etc.
  • Collaborate with key corporate and property stakeholders to set and achieve ambitious goals, improve guest and resident satisfaction, and ensure strong financial performance across the asset.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and lead sales strategies to align with the brand’s business goals and ensure departmental KPIs are met
  • Lead and mentor the team in revenue generation activities, including food & beverage, and leisure services
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance, identifying and addressing gaps to maximise revenue
  • Support and strategise omnichannel marketing communication plans to enhance brand visibility
  • Provide market intelligence to adapt to economic trends and meet customer demands
  • Develop strong community relations and identify PR opportunities to support marketing strategies
  • Uphold brand guidelines and coordinate crisis communications
  • Collaborate with the Leasing team to ensure an exceptional customer experience from initial contact to post-sale support

 

General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the real estate industry (5 years minimum as a functional leader)
  • Proven track record in developing sales and marketing strategies in Hong Kong, ideally within a luxury setting and or the real estate sector
  • Experience in creating new revenue channels and expertise in omnichannel marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-performance teams and collaborate with senior management to develop and implement company strategies
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, customer relationship management software and other relevant sales and marketing technologies
