Sous Chef - The Lobby

Business Unit:  The Peninsula Hong Kong
Location:  Tsim Sha Tsui

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Outlet Chef with the day to day operation of the kitchen, provides service to the Restaurants.
  • Assists with creating, developing, costing and implementing of new dishes. 
  • Supports training, coaching and development efforts of all chefs in the team. 
  • Adheres to all relevant health and safety codes as stipulated by the Hotel and the local health authorities (FEHD). 
  • Fully supports and contributes to the company’s CSR initiatives.
  • Runs the Kitchen in all aspects during the Outlet Chef’s absence.

Requirements:  

  • Minimum 6 years of experience with international luxury hotel background
  • Good command in Cantonese and English are required
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
