Housekeeping internship

We are pleased to offer an internship opportunity that will allow you to develop your hands-on industry knowledge whilst partnering with our operational team. This role will be responsible for activities related to the Housekeeping department. That placement will start in Q1 2025 for a minimum of 6 months.

Key Accountabilities

One opportunity in one of the sections or rotation may apply among: Guest Rooms, Laundry, Linen & Uniform, Flower Room, Public Area
 

• Ensure the highest level of cleanliness, quality and maintenance of the hotel’s guest rooms, stores, guest corridors, pantries, back areas, with a keen eye for detail.
• Handle guest requests and provide friendly and efficient services.
• Anticipate guests' preferences and make up the rooms based on the guests' needs and service standards.
• Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe.
• Answer calls in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain proper and accurate records of arrangements
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and F&B Service, to ensure guest needs are met and operational efficiency is maintained.

General Requirements

• The Peninsula Hong Kong is open to international applicants for the internship opportunities

• Fluent in both spoken and written English

• Pleasant, courteous, and fun personality
