Front Office internship

We are pleased to offer an internship opportunity that will allow you to develop your hands-on industry knowledge whilst partnering with our operational team. This role will be responsible for activities related to the service in the Rooms division (Front desk, Concierge, Guest Relations, Baggage & Transportation, Telephone). That placement will start in Q1 2025 for a minimum of 6 months.

Key Accountabilities

One opportunity in one of the sections or rotation may apply among: Front desk / Concierge / Guest Relations / Baggage & Transportation / Telephone Services*

• Ensure a seamless and personalized guest experience.
• Support the Front Office team with guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of the hotel.
• Learn about hotel systems and software, such as property management systems (PMS), to support Front Office operations and guest service processes.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as F&B Service, to ensure guest needs are met and operational efficiency is maintained.
• Report guest feedback and ensure elevated service recovery to exceed guest expectations, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles

General Requirements

• The Peninsula Hong Kong is open to international applicants for the internship opportunities

• Fluent in both spoken and written English

• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Cantonese for Telephone Services Internship

• Pleasant, courteous, and fun personality
