Assistant Manager - Payroll

Assistant Manager - Payroll- Peninsula Tokyo – Accounting (Full Timer)

 

Working alongside a wonderful team at Peninsula Tokyo, we are seeking an Assistant Manager - Payroll  to support our Accounting operations.

 

  • Staff at The Peninsula Tokyo are talented, highly motivated, dedicated to excellence and have an aptitude for languages
  • We provide Basic Salary per Month. Bonus 2 times per Year, Pay Increase 1time per Year. Commutation Fee (Max JPY30000 per Month), Overnight Pay. Provide Days-off per Shift, Annual Leave, Special Public Holidays, Life-Work-Balance Leave, Paternity Leave. Entitle Retirement Plan. Enroll Social and Labor Insurance.

 

Key Job Tasks and Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure that personal information are kept confidential.
  • Process company's payroll every pay period
  • Work with Human Resources to determine deductions and benefits.
  • Ensure all necessary changes (new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions etc.) are made by checking with Personal Action Form which is final approved by General Manager.
  • Provide salary data and employee attendance record with certified social insurance labor consultant.
  • Review the calculated payroll data with Human Resources and bring any discrepancies with each other.
  • Seek approval of Director of HR, Finance Manager and Director of Finance, General Manager for the payment.
  • Check expat staff payroll details provided by head office.
  • Prepare payroll journal and post it into SUN system.
  • Work on reconciliation of BS accounts.
  • Develop over time payroll report.
  • Provide 401k data to Human Resources.
  • Produce payment for withholding tax, local tax, social insurance and 401k premium.
  • (Annual) Hand in Annual Salary Report to tax office in every January (法定調書).
  • (Annual) Prepare and submit tax return forms for Expat in every March(確定申告).

  • Good interpersonal relationship with all hotel supervisors and department heads
