Sous Chef - Pastry

Location:  Tokyo

Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Tokyo, we are seeking a Sous Chef in Pastry to achieve the company’s objectives and create a memorable guest experience.

 

Sign-on Bonus JPY100,000 Allocated Following Successful Completion of 3-Month Probation. (Eligibility - Applications after Dec 25th, 2021 to Mar 31th, 2022. Hired as Permanent Staff)

 

  • Work for a highly prestigious hotel in Pastry Team.

  • We provide Basic Salary per Month. Bonus 2 times per Year, Pay Increase 1time per Year. Commutation Fee (Max JPY30000 per Month), Overnight Pay. Provide Days-off per Shift, Annual Leave, Special Public Holidays, Life-Work-Balance Leave, Paternity Leave. Entitle Retirement Plan. Enroll Social and Labor Insurance.


Key Accountabilities

  • Prepares and makes all Pastry items according to Peninsula guidelines and standards.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Enthusiastic about Pastry, maintains a positive attitude to team and a professional disposition.


General Requirements

  • Local Hiring 
  • Full knowledge of Pastry
  • Preferred to have working experience in 5-star hotel or equal Pastry Shop
