Rooms Internship (Guest Services and Housekeeping)

We are pleased to offer an internship opportunity that will allow you to develop your hands-on industry knowledge whilst partnering with our operational team. This role will be responsible for activities related to the service in the Guest Services and Housekeeping departments. That placement will start in Q1 2025 for a minimum of 6 months.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Rotate in Guest Service and Housekeeping Department.
  • Perform a friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service to all guests.
  • Support the team with guest inquiries, and requests (promptly and professionally).
  • Gain hands-on experience, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guest preferences.
  • Shadow housekeeping staff to understand room cleaning procedures, quality standards, and inventory management practices.
  • Learn about hotel systems and software to support housekeeping operations and guest service processes.
  • Observe and maintain the daily condition of all physical facilities and equipment in the office and make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed.
  • Participate in any task necessary to achieve the property’s goals and the highest levels of compliance and efficiency.
  • Maintain a culture in compliance with the mission, vision, values, and core principles of HSH.

 


General Requirements

 

  • Japanese Passport Holder
  • Pleasant, courteous, and fun personality
  • Good English communication (verbal, written)
  • Preferred candidates who had the experience in internship before
