Operation Manager

The Peninsula Tokyo is seeking to hire an enthusiastic Operation Manager to support our diverse and vibrant concierge team.  

 

  • This role allowed you to utilize your organization and creativity skills to promptly serve guests' needs and inquiries.
  •  Ability to manage large team with diverse nationalities of team members.

 

 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Hold strong leadership skills and being able to handle multi-tasking and inquiries from guests in timely manners.
  • Being able to motivate the team and work in fast face environment.
  • Wealth knowledge of city activities, i.e. theatre, the arts, special exhibits, concerts, shows, sporting events, leisure activities, sightseeing tours.
  • Oversee and manage staffing levels and payroll expenses/overtime in accordance with budgetary guidelines and required service levels.
  • Provide training to the team and lead by example to ensuring the Peninsula's service standard.
  • Conduct interview during recruitment processes, provide proper performance evaluation of all members.

 

General Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experienced in operation, guest facing from hospitality industry
  • Fluency in English, Japanese language ability is an advantage 
  • Experienced in people management  
  • Strong details oriented and organization skills
