Executive Housekeeper

Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Tokyo, we are seeking an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to achieve the company’s objectives and create a memorable guest experience.

 

  • Opportunity to manage large and diverse housekeeping team
  • Potentially becoming successor of Director of Housekeeping 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective cost control of the housekeeping department's financial budget Initiation and implementation of regular supplies inventory, including cleaning materials and guestroom amenities Control and monitoring of productivity levels and efficiency within the housekeeping department
  • Ensure all guestrooms are in excellent condition prior to arrival and all associated amenities/setups are in good order
  • Monitor and managing staff levels and payroll/overtime in accordance with budget guidelines and required service levels
  • Lead the team effectively, ensuring all members are appropriately trained and compliant with hotel policies
  • Effective communication with all members to ensure adequate staffing for all shifts

 

General Requirements

  • Experience in housekeeping and personnel management skills; luxury hospitality experience is preferred
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
