Door Attendant

Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Tokyo, we are seeking a Door Attendant to achieve the company’s objectives and create a memorable guest experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Welcome our guest at Door. 
  • Helping guests getting in and out of vehicles/limo bus by opening and closing doors.
  • Providing taxi services. 
  • Controlling the hotel parking


Shift (Example)

A 7:00-16:00 / B 13:30-22:30

Teamwork skills

  • Working closely with the parking team.
  • Smoothly guide our guests' cars in/out and ready at the front entrance, greeting arriving guests, taking their keys, and arrange to park.


Multi-tasking skills

  • As a door staff member, you must not only greet and welcome guests, but also call cabs and arrange airport pick-up vehicles as needed, as well as keep tracking of traffic information and respond flexibly accordingly.


Information management skills

  • Review shared information on the web at the beginning of the shift and receive verbal reminders from supervisor.
  • You need to be aware of traffic information at all times (e.g., where traffic jams occur, where roadblocks are, etc.).


English Proficiency

  • Guests often ask for directions. Guests are multinational, so there are many opportunities to communicate with them in English.


Physical strength

  • This position requires physical strength as you are always outside.


General Requirements

  • Preferred to speak English in business situations. 
  • Preferred to have working experience as Door Staff in 5-star hotel or equal establishment.
