Assistant Chief Concierge
Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Tokyo, we are seeking an Assistant Chief Concierge to achieve the company’s objectives and create a memorable guest experience.

Key Accountabilities
- Assist the Chief Concierge to direct and manage the operation of the Concierge Desk.
- Provide guests with the information of sightseeing spots and hotel's events.
- Review guest feedback logbook and take appropriate follow-up actions in a timely manner.
- Oversee payroll expenses and overtime in accordance with the budgetary guidelines and required service levels.
- Assist Front Office Manager in the preparation of monthly reports, budgets, and forecasts if necessary.
- Provide proper trainings and exposure for the Concierge department.
General Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in Concierge with at least 1 year experience in a managerial role.
- Fluent English speaker and preferably Japanese with great respect for Japanese culture.
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- In-depth knowledge of city activities (e.g. theatres, arts, special exhibitions, concerts, shows, sporting events, leisure activities, sightseeing tours and etc.) and maintain close connections with professionals in these areas so as to provide the latest information, ticketing and reservations.
