KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • The Junior Sommelier is responsible for setting up, maintaining and tidying up the pantry and sommelier equipment, in compliance with the hotel's quality standards and procedures.
  • He/she assists the Sommelier in setting up the service and plays an active role in ensuring that it runs smoothly, liaising between the dining room and the cellar.

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Discretion, thoroughness, attention to detail
  • Team spirit, good organizational skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Good management of priorities and emergencies
  • BAC pro minimum or equivalent, as well as a mention sommellerie or a Brevet Professionnel sommellerie
  • Approx. 2 years' experience in a high-end establishment
