Maitre d'hôtel - Room-Service

Perfectly situated at 19 Avenue Kléber, The Peninsula sits in the heart of Paris within walking distance of some of the world’s most famous monuments, museums and luxury shopping districts. The Peninsula houses 200 luxurious rooms, including 93 suites.  Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, The Peninsula Paris is seeking a Maître d'Hôtel for the Room-Service.

Key accountabilities:

• You will supervise the setting up of the service, the smooth running of the activity during the service and ensure that tidying up is carried out in the best possible way once the service has been completed.
• You will promote sales to the customer, constantly striving to optimize results.
• As Maître d'Hôtel, you will supervise and organize the work of the team in your charge.
• Be attentive to customer needs, able to anticipate their requirements and provide appropriate solutions to any problems encountered.

General requirements:

• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to listen to customers.
• Master the use of office automation tools.
• Demonstrate rigor and organization in work.
• Fluency in at least two foreign languages, including English.
• Ability to manage emergency situations.
• Have similar experience in a hotel establishment of the same category.
• Hotel school diploma / BTS / Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
