Junior Group & Events Manager

Perfectly situated at 19 Avenue Kléber, The Peninsula sits in the heart of Paris within walking distance of some of the world’s most famous monuments, museums and luxury shopping districts. The Peninsula houses 200 luxurious rooms, including 93 suites.  Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, The Peninsula Paris is seeking a Junior Groups & events manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Make contact and negotiate with customers,
  • Respond to various incoming banqueting requests and carry out telephone qualifications,
  • Suggest and carry out hotel visits for our potential and confirmed customers,
  • Contract preparation: follow up on signatures and payments,
  • Organize events in coordination with the various hotel departments (Kitchen, Banquets, Housekeeping, etc.).

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Listens to customer requests,
  • Source of proposals and innovation,
  • Takes initiative,
  • Good rigor and organization,
  • Fluent in English,
  • Hotel school training and experience in a hotel of the same category (desirable, not mandatory),
  • Proven experience as a training manager.
