Head Waiter - Le Lobby restaurant

Perfectly situated at 19 Avenue Kléber, The Peninsula sits in the heart of Paris within walking distance of some of the world’s most famous monuments, museums and luxury shopping districts. The Peninsula houses 200 luxurious rooms, including 93 suites.  Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, The Peninsula Paris is seeking a Head Waiter for the Lobby Restaurant.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Be in charge of the entire restaurant service sequence, in liaison with the kitchen: from reception to order-taking to customer departure.
• Greet and inform customers,
• Present products and encourage sales.
• Perform clerical and mathematical operations (order forms, additions, etc.).

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in computerized cashiering systems
• Fluent English (additional language preferred)
• First successful experience as a chef de rang in a demanding service environment
• Ability to work in a team
• Hold a BAC PRO, BEP, CAP or equivalent experience.
