The Peninsula houses 200 luxurious rooms, including 93 suites.  Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, The Peninsula Paris is seeking an Assistant Chief Barman

Key accountabilities :

• Provide and maintain the highest standards possible for guests by insuring quick, efficient and professional service.
• Responsible for all activities related to service in the Bar, which includes preparation tasks and performing service as per standards set by the hotel.
• Effectively perform pre-service and after-service procedures as per standard.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage menu items.
• Ensure the monthly and annual revenue targets are met.
• Handles all guest complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure issues are resolved satisfactorily.
• Ensure usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
• Hires, develops, motivates, and performance manages their department employees

General requirements :

• Must have at least 3 years bartending experience
• Solid knowledge of liquor, mix-drinks, cocktails, wine and all other beverage
• Outgoing, Ability to work in a team, creative, motivated, good listener and thorough follow up. 
• Strong attention to detail.
• Impeccable grooming and excellent presentation.
• Previous experience in a hotel of a similar standing
• Team management skills
• Fluent both in French and English – third language appreciated
