Food & Beverage Coordinator

The Food & Beverage coordinator embodies organization, strategy, enthusiasm, and passion. As an integral member of the team, they support all outlet managers in every facet of Food & Beverage administration.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Manage reservations for Clement restaurant, Gotham lounge and Pen Top Bar.
  • Support organization for semi-private events from inquiry to contract and planning.
  • Oversee the development and set up of our booking platforms such as Open Table and Tock
  • Communicate with clients, send out contracts and secure payment information.
  • Support with general office duties, printing, proof reading, and menus.
  • Place orders and requisitions for equipment and supplies.
  • Project coordination for special events and holidays.
  • To have necessary knowledge of menu items to assist guest occasionally.
  • Assist guest and colleagues courteously and efficiently in a timely manner.
  • Assist Food & Beverage Director on special projects as needed.
  • Attend daily Stand-up meetings with Food & Beverage Managers.
  • Attend Weekly Meetings – take meeting minutes.
  • Manage and consolidate contacts in database management system.

 

General Requirements:

 

  • Must have at least 1 year proven working experience in a luxury F&B environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related Business field.
  • Effective administration and project coordination skills.
  • Microsoft – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Open Table, and Social Media savvy.
  • Sharp problem-solving, attention to details and able to prioritize work tasks in an effective manner.
  • Must be a natural organizer (highly detailed and able to engage with guests), analytical, have a financial acumen (budgeting) and able to diffuse difficult situations with charisma.
