Electronic Low Voltage Technician

The Electronic Low Voltage Technician will support end users and hotel guests by managing all ELV support activities and escalating issues to management as needed.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure routine ELV tasks are successfully carried out and recorded in the helpdesk system.
• Formulate solutions to common problems and provide technical assistance to IT/ELV team.
• Assist with the implementation of hotel Technology projects as assigned by the Director/Asst. Director of IT.
• Support and maintain Guest Wi-Fi and other HSIA related infrastructure.
• Liaises with external vendor, Head Office R&T for any technical issues arising from different ELV systems.
• Provide technical assistance for in-house guests pertaining to the different systems or devices.
• Troubleshoot / Repair any in-room or guest’s floor voice, video and data lines for any possible issues or defects. Provide additional lines if needed.
• Check daily inventory of ELV spare parts, Printers & Cartridge Inks, TVs, and Guest loaner items (Multimedia Players/cables, Game Consoles, Speakers, Laptops & Power adapters)
• Identify and ship-out for repair ELV items to HSH R&T team.
• Conduct or perform full in-room ELV functionality test for VVIP arriving guest when required.

General Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year relevant experience in a luxury hotel or recent computer science graduates.
• Logical, analytical, and systematic trouble shooting skills
• Detail oriented, team player, confident and self-starter ability.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management and guests as needed.
