Chef Concierge

The Peninsula New York is seeking a Chef Concierge to join our Rooms Division team, lead our Concierge agents, and be an integral part of our guest-focused service.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage the Concierge team ensure proper operation of all responsibilities of Concierge operations.
• Adhere to the ethical standards of being a concierge as outlined by Les Clefs d’Or USA.
• Knowledgeable and fully adheres to Peninsula brand standards.
• Ensure the communication of an adequate daily staff briefing concerning pertinent information regarding arrivals, VIPs and daily group activities.
• Maintain consistency in performance in accordance with Peninsula brand standards.
• Communicate with all departments to create a guest centric experience.
• Provide information regarding both City and Peninsula Hotel attractions and points of interest.
• Accountable for guest assistance including, but not limited to, restaurant reservations, ticket procurement, and shipping.
• Ensure efficient operation of the Concierge responsibilities with efficient handover.

General Requirements:

• 5 years of Concierge experience in luxury property preferred.
• Strong knowledge on city points of interest.
• Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
