Overview of the role

We are looking for a passionate hospitality professional who will be responsible for providing a high level of guest satisfaction through efficient and courteous telephone service of the Guest Communications Center.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Handles incoming/outgoing calls and chats, operation of the paging system, handling wake up calls, emergency procedures and proper charging of calls.
  • Receives, acknowledges, and relays all messages received through telephone calls, chat and radio of the hotel in a fast, accurate and courteous manner.
  • Handles and relays guest requests for housekeeping amenities, laundry pick-up and delivery, luggage assistance and Engineering concerns.
  • Reports and immediately follows up any guest complaint or unusual incidents to proper authorities.
  • Operates efficiently and proficiently the fully Electronic EPABX exchange.

 

 

General Requirements

  • Experience on a similar EPABX system is an advantage
  • Efficiency in both oral and written communication skills with a pleasant, well-modulated voice
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, work under pressure with maturity and initiative
  • Knowledge and experience in using Opera
  • Excellent customer service skills
