Executive Housekeeper
Overview of the role
Seeking a passionate, highly motivated and hardworking section assistant manager who will provides leadership, direction, and support to the employees in Housekeeping to develop a highly motivated team who can deliver high standards of service in all areas including commercial returns.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee proper operation of all sub-departments of Housekeeping operations
- Ensure consistency in staff performance in accordance with both Peninsula and LRA standards
- Take overall responsibility for daily operational issues within the Housekeeping Department including accurate scheduling, service recovery, continuous coverage, and efficient service delivery.
- Must achieve maximum efficiency and productivity for the hotel.
- Ensures all areas, including rooms, public areas and outdoor space, back of the house are in excellent condition and is responsible for managing and ensuring the impeccable maintenance and cleanliness of the areas.
General Requirements
- Minimum of at least 5 years experience working as an Executive Housekeeper in a 5-star hotel or same industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong leadership
