Overview of the Role

​​We are looking for a passionate hotelier who will assist in ensuring smooth operation of the sections appointed in the Stewarding division and will ensure efficiency, engagement and support the team to deliver high standards of service​.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • ​​​Ensures the maintenance of the hotel and department regulations, policies and procedures including but not limited to: House Rules and Regulation, Health and Safety, Emergency Response and Standard Operations Procedures. 

  • ​Ensures the impeccable maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel’s back of house facilities.

  • Ensures completion of daily and monthly checklists, walkthroughs and routine preventative maintenance schedules and supervises the completion of all maintenance improvements.

  • ​Training the steward team to reduce the breakage and damages of all equipment. 

  • ​Ensures the hotels waste removal and recycling programs and supports the Vision 2030 Community and Social Responsibility Objectives for the Stewarding Department.

 

General Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of Supervisory experience in Hotel operations (Food & Beverage)
  • Should have extensive knowledge about Cleanliness and Safety of the Hotel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong leadership
