Overview of the Role

​​We are looking for a passionate hotelier who will assist in ensuring smooth operation of the sections appointed in the Stewarding division and will ensure efficiency, engagement and support the team to deliver high standards of service​.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • ​​Implements and ensures the maintenance of the hotel and department regulations, policies and procedures including but not limited to: House Rules and Regulation, Health and Safety, Emergency Response and Standard Operations Procedures. 

  • ​Is responsible for managing and ensuring the impeccable maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel’s back of house facilities. Ensures kitchen equipment is in good working condition.

  •  Ensures completion of daily, weekly, and monthly checklists, walkthroughs and routine preventative maintenance schedules. Leads and supervises the completion of all maintenance improvements.

  • ​Oversees all contracts for food and beverage, chemical suppliers for the kitchens, and heart of house.

  • ​​Works closely with Hygiene Manager on all aspects regarding HACCP.  Organize and conduct regular training programs on cleaning techniques, hygiene standard, and equipment use for the stewarding team. 

 

General Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of Supervisory experience in Hotel operations (Food & Beverage)
  • Should have extensive knowledge about Cleanliness and Safety of the Hotel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong leadership
