Captain Waiter

Business Unit:  The Peninsula Manila

Overview of the role

We are looking for a passionate fine dining captain waiter who will be responsible in supporting the Outlet Manager and Supervisor in providing excellent service to all the guests. A well-rounded individual who can work under pressure.

 

Key accountabilities

  • Does cashiering of all kinds of payment methods accepted in the hotel, cash handling, balancing of sales reports.
  • Ensures that the operating equipment and general supplies for the restaurant are maintained at the established par stocks and initiates requisitions for additional supplies if necessary.
  • Ensures the service stations are properly staffed and equipped to render service to the guest. This includes proper supplies of glassware, cutlery, chinaware, ice, linen menu, decorations, condiments and side stands supplies.
  • To have in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage of the outlet.
  • To maintain the highest standard of quality for operation. (Food and beverage).

 

General Requirements

  • BS degree in hospitality management or any other related courses from a reputable school
  • With experience working in a Michelin star restaurant
  • With experience working overseas
  • Good command in both spoken and written English
  • Excellent guest service skills
