Seasonal Lifeguard

Key accountabilities

• Conducts proper surveillance and recognition to prevent accidents or any untoward incidents from occurring and reacts appropriately and very timely to any emergency.

• Administers lifesaving maneuvers in the pool, Basic Life Support and First Aid when necessary

• Ensures adherence to Hotel and Departmental service standards at all times.

• Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the pool and its immediate surroundings

• Consistently and diplomatically enforces the rules and regulations of the facility, hygiene, and safety guidelines

• Ability to interact with guests, providing full knowledge and assistance for maximum guest usage in an outgoing and positive manner.

 
General requirements

• Must possess a current Lifeguarding licenses and certifications, Basic Water Safety, Basic Life Support and First Aid certification in accordance with local regulations.

• In depth knowledge of Pool operations

• Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external clients.

• Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor and great “connection” with people.

• 2-3 years experience as a Lifeguard in a hotel or resort is preferable
