Key accountabilities

 

  • Monitor and ensure smooth operations of the sections appointed (restaurant / banquet / beverage – as applicable) 
  • Explain all food and beverage menus listed on the menu in details.
  • Presents wine lists and recommend beverages and wines as required.
  • Anticipates guests’ needs and exceeds guests’ expectations.
  • Ensures linens, silverware and chinaware are in good condition.
  • Controlling the cleanliness and tidiness of side stations before, during and after operation.
  • Always controlling the cleanliness of the guests’ tables.


General requirements

 

  • Ability to use F&B related POS & payment systems eg. Infrasys, credit card payments.
  • Knowledge of handling cash.
  • Good hands-on service.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage outlet with similar standards and expectations (Hotel based or Standalone).
  • Service etiquette and 5-star service standard.
  • Degree or Diploma in hotel management. 
  • High level understanding of food and beverage knowledge.
