Key accountabilities

 

  • Always ensures the delivery of exceptional guest service, providing friendly, yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating, and waiting on all guests.

  • Handles, or relays to  Managers all guest and internal customer feedback, and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.

  • Establishes and maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.

  • Conducts regular trainings to employees on preparation, service, and menu pairing related to the beverage menu.

  • To exceed guest expectations with service, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles, focusing on the core principles and looks for improvement for better service standard with a general theme of anticipating the guests' needs.

  • Ensures that the bar/beverage preparing stations, glassware, bar equipment, bottle displays are ready, garnishes are cut, fresh pre-service and refreshments are done during service. 

  • Ensures that consistency and correct service techniques for all meal periods to be followed by all staff members when preparing or serving a cocktail.

 

General requirements

 

  • Excellent beverage knowledge, possess knowledge of cocktail preparation.

  • Good organization skills & time management.

  • To be able to ensure service excellency.

  • Good hands-on service.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage outlet with similar standards and expectations (Hotel based or Standalone).

  • Degree or Diploma in hotel management.

  • Driven by precision and excellence.

  • Good level of English and Turkish language proficiency.
