Assistant Procurement Manager

Business Unit:  The Peninsula Hong Kong
Location:  Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

  • Sources, evaluates, and recommends suppliers and products
  • Ensures that purchasing and tendering procedures are followed
  • Handles routine operations orders and inventory replenishment
  • Conducts analysis in category planning and risk management
  • Maintains complete and accurate records in accordance with the hotel standards
  • Carries out any improvement to the existing procurement function and provides solid feedback and suggestion for best practices
  • Performs ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by hotel management

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in hotels or food & beverage establishments
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese
