Housekeeping Manager

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking for a Manager to join our Housekeeping team and be a leader in providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure efficient operation of the Housekeeping department
• Ensure consistency in staff performance in accordance with both Peninsula and Forbes standards
• Must achieve maximum efficiency and productivity for the hotel.
• Manage the public areas, as well as building exterior by utilizing all housekeeping staff including but is not limited to impeccable cleanliness of all areas outside of guestroom tower at all times 
• Collaborate with all departments to maintain communication in providing guest-centric experience
• Ensure the Housekeeping team is knowledgeable and fully adheres to standards.

General Requirements:

• 5 years of Housekeeping management experience
• Knowledge of PMS/Opera 
• Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
