Roof Garden Host - Temporary

Working alongside The Roof Garden Management Team at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking a Host for The Roof Garden who possesses a genuine warmth and sense of hospitality.

Key Accountabilities

• Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor and great “connection” with people
• The Host/Hostess is responsible for providing superior guest service that is consistent with Peninsula standards.
• Greeting and seating guests and assisting guests with reservations via phone and in person.
• Confirming and modifying reservations and assisting guests with special requests.
• Control the flow of outlets to maximize seating without sacrificing guest experience. 

General Requirements

• Exhibit phone etiquette, organizational skills, basic computer knowledge (incl. reservations management system) and food/wine service knowledge.
• Requires the ability to multitask, work efficiently and within a team environment.
• Must be available to work all shifts; to include day, swing, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Responsible Beverage certification and ServSafe certification or equivalent
