Learning and Development Manager

Business Unit:  The Peninsula Beverly Hills
Location:  Beverly Hills

Working alongside the Director of Human Resources at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking a Learning and Development Manager who will have an impact on all employees at every level of our organization.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Develop our employees at all levels of their career
  • Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs using the most effective methods:  classroom, on the job training, personal coaching, meetings, or workshops
  • Communicate effectively and follow up on adherence to standards; be visible in the operation to observe and critique the execution of standards

 

General Requirements

 

  • 5+ years in management role in customer service, luxury travel/hospitality with demonstrated skillset in learning and development activities
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Relationship management, diplomacy, and consultative abilities
  • Effective project management with ability to meet deadlines
