In-Room Dining Manager (Department Head)

Working alongside the Director of Food and Beverage at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking an In-Room Dining Manager (Department Head) who possesses a genuine warmth and sense of hospitality.

Key Accountabilities


•    Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
•    Assist in monitoring and assessing product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
•    Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
•    Assist in initiating and implementing marketing and up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue
•    Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members
•    Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management and moves with a sense of urgency.
•    Assist in the management of operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department      management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation

 

 

General Requirements


•    Previous food service experience with the ability to perform multiple jobs within the restaurant.
•    Passion for providing exceptional hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
•    Previous management or supervisory experience is required including bar management.
•    Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills and problem-solving skills.
•    Food Hander and Responsible Beverage Certification.
•    Flexible schedule including weekends & holidays.
