Beverage Director
Working alongside the Director of Food and Beverage at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking a Beverage Director who possesses a genuine warmth and sense of hospitality.

Key Accountabilities
• Responsible for the continuous high-level execution of the beverage program.
• Ordering, inventory management and cellar organization.
• Working with the Director of Food & Beverage and wine team to provide interesting offerings that change seasonally as needed. Training the staff to a high level of execution and knowledge.
• Develop a wine program for all outlets. Create a vision statement for wine offerings, wine service, wares, etc. Work in coordination with the Food and Beverage Director to complement and support the beer/cocktail/spirits program. Continually update the menu with interesting, relevant, trendsetting and on-brand offerings that enhance and represent the complete experience.
• Provide an example for hospitality to all guests.
General Requirements
• Expert knowledge of traditional and non-traditional wines, champagne, fortified wines, beer and spirits.
• Expert knowledge of current beverage service procedures, current international, national and local wine trends, wine tools, service and culture.
• Prior experience curating a deep, fine dining cellar.
• Experience with beverage menu development and implementation including costing menu items, wine ordering, cellar maintenance and organization, menu design, layout and printing.
