Key accountabilities
- To liaise and co-ordinate with division heads and department heads to identify training needs and determine training priorities.
- To propose yearly training budget and control departmental expenses.
- To recommend appropriate training activities and propose yearly training plan.
- To arrange, co-ordinate and conduct training activities for all staff of different departments.
- To ensure all new employees at general and supervisory levels are given adequate orientation and familiarization when they join the hotel.
- To leverage and promote corporate culture and initiatives, including Peninsula Behavioral Standards, Forbes Standards, LQA standards etc.
- To train suitable individuals as on the job departmental trainers.
- To design and conduct Essential English programs for operational staff to improve their language proficiency.
General requirements
- Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English.
- Well-developed communication, presentation and public speaking skills.
- Strong analytical and organization skills.
- People-sensitive, enthusiastic, open-minded and innovative.
- Good service quality mindset.
