Restaurant Manager- Mei Jiang

Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Bangkok, we are seeking a Restaurant Manager - Mei Jiang who responsible for managing the Chinese restaurant, to delegate and share responsibilities to assistant manager and in maintaining discipline, standards of service and a high level of professionalism at the outlet

Key Responsibilities

• Manage administrative duties, weekly schedule and maintain an organized guest history system
• Responsible for maintaining inventory, operational equipment and all financial sheets for the Outlet
• Maintain operations within set budget and motivate team members to help achieve it. 
• Ensure compliance with hotel rules, regulations and hotel grooming standard.
• Delegate duties and responsibilities to subordinates and work tasks related to other departments
• Make continuous efforts to increase yours and your staff’s professional knowledge
• Continuously strive towards achieving higher standards of service with the team members 
• Carry out training to ensure staff members possess the essential skills to perform daily tasks and help develop their skills and abilities to improve in their roles and potential future roles
• Check detail of requisitions needed to maintain and improve the outlet
• Maintain outlet, making sure there are no safety hazards present for both guest and employees, that all fixtures and restaurant items are in top shape, if not; being able to get them fixed right away.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field.
• 5-year experience at a level below or similar position.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Excellent cash handling skills, strong problem-solving skills especially guest complaint handling
• Fine dining experience required 
• Excellent English communication skills
