Management Trainee - Rooms

We are pleased to offer a Management Trainee opportunity that will allow you to develop your hands-on industry knowledge whilst partnering with our operational team. This role will provide you with a variety of responsibilities aimed at gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Rooms Division. That placement will start in Q1 2025 for 6 months.

Key Accountabilities 

• Gain hands-on experience in managing daily operations of the rooms division, including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services, to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and smooth operational flow.
• Learn and implement best practices to enhance guest experience, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to maintain high standards of luxury and service excellence.
• Work closely with various departments to coordinate and streamline services, ensuring effective communication and a cohesive approach to guest service
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing room occupancy, guest feedback, and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhanced performance.
• Gain experience in resolving complex guest issues and complaints, applying critical thinking and creative solutions to uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellence.
• Take part in special projects and initiatives related to rooms division operations, such as guest satisfaction surveys, or sustainability programs.

General requirements 

• Excellent English and / or Mandarin communication (verbal, written)
• Senior students who had the experience in internship before 
• The Peninsula Bangkok is open to international applicants for our operational opportunities.
