Internships and Management Trainees - 2024

We are excited to offer students internship or management trainee opportunities that will allow you to develop your hands-on industry knowledge whilst partnering with our operational or administrative teams. These placements will be as internships and management trainees, starting in Q1 2024 for a minimum of 6 months.
 

• Secure a placement with a luxurious Five-Star hotel located in Bangkok

Key Accountabilities:

Front Office - operational internship 

• Handle all Front Desk transactions, not limited to check in and check out in accordance to hotel standard
• Meet and greet VIPs, provide in-room registration, create bonding with guests during the stay, and bid farewell upon guest departures. 
• To have strong product knowledge, promote hotel activities and promotions to all guests.
• Able to Handle guest inquiries timely and in a professional manner.
• to ensure a proper a proper us of telephone etiquette standards and remain professional grooming and posture at all times.

F&B service - operational internship

• Provide service to all hotel guests at the highest standards. 
• Show a positive energetic and caring attitude towards duties assigned, guests and team members.
• Maintain all work equipment in proper condition, cleaning polishing etc.
• Comply with hotel Policy and Procedure 

Rooms - management trainee

• Complete projects as assigned by Director of Rooms
• Attend management meetings assigned by Director of Rooms
• Actively assist Assistant Managers on floor including all Front Desk transactions, not limited to check in and check out in accordance with hotel standard.
• Meet and greet VIPs, provide in-room registration, create bonding with guests during the stay, and bid farewell upon guest departures. 
• To have strong product knowledge, promote hotel activities and promotions to all guests.
• Able to Handle guest inquiries timely and in a professional manner.
• To ensure a proper a proper us of telephone etiquette standards and remain professional grooming and posture at all times.
• Comply with hotel Policy and Procedure

Food & Beverage - management trainee

• Complete projects as assigned by Director of Food & Beverage
• Attend management meetings assigned by Director of Food & Beverage
• Actively assist operation managers on floor
• Provide service to all hotel guests at the highest standards. 
• Show a positive energetic and caring attitude towards duties assigned, guests and team members.
• Comply with hotel Policy and Procedure 

General Requirements: 

• Good English communication (verbal, written) - Good Thai communication (verbal, written) for administrative internships.  
• The Peninsula Bangkok is open to international applicants for our operational opportunities.
