Guest Relations Officer

Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Bangkok, we are seeking a Guest Relations Officer who serve as the hotel’s ambassador to all guests, both on and off the property. Proactively offer services that exceed guest expectations and stay informed about trends and activities both within the hotel and the local community that impact guest relations

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with various departments, including Housekeeping, Spa, Food & Beverage, and Front Office, to ensure that all pre-stay arrangements for assigned VIPs are meticulously organized.
  • Review the daily arrivals and departures of VIPs, making every effort to meet, greet, and bid farewell to guests.
  • Oversee VIP room assignments, ensuring that all necessary preparations, such as welcome amenities and special setups, are completed.
  • Lead and manage the VIP arrival experience by facilitating a seamless in-room check-in process, including for guests arriving via hotel transfer.
  • Be present during the guest's stay, striving to achieve satisfaction by gathering feedback, anticipating needs, and fulfilling requests.
  • Assist the Front Desk with check-in and check-out processes, and support other departments as needed.
  • Contribute to increasing hotel revenue through room upselling, Spa services, and Food & Beverage promotions.
  • Promote hotel activities and provide information to potential guests, staying informed about products and promotions.
  • Ensure that all VIP welcome cards, Honeymoon, Birthday, and Anniversary cards are prepared and delivered to Room Service before the guest’s arrival.
  • Review VIP departures daily, ensuring that all bills are accurate and providing necessary assistance, such as extending check-out times or arranging departure transfers.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent hotel management courses with hotel operations
  • Front Desk or Reception Experience in the hotel industry 1-2 years
  • Good knowledge in Customer Service Excellence, Strong Communication Skills, Attention to Detail.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
