Catering & Events Coordinator

Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Bangkok, we are seeking a Catering & Events Coordinator to provide clerical and sales support to Catering team

• Learn and grow within a strong Sales & Marketing operation

Key accountabilities 

• Provide secretarial and sales support to Catering team
• Handle and reply of general sales requests.
• Assist and support Catering sales in servicing clients (e.g. telephone sales) and conduct site inspections. Handling small events assigned by Catering Sales Manager.
• Coordinate with other departments for internal events (e.g. shareholders meeting or general staff briefing including function space block for stock taking or internal events.
• Support Sales & Marketing and Marketing & Communications in coordinating for Fam Trip, Press Trip, Incentive inspection etc. (Issue BEO, e-mail, follow-up menus etc.)
• Support F&B in preparing BEO for festive i.e. Chinese New Year, Valentines, Loy Krathong, Tree Lighting, Christmas and New Years’ Eve together with Wedding Sales Team, maintaining sales tool i.e. Wedding picture, update photos in notebook etc.
• Update Opera system and mailing list on regular basis.
• Preparing Catering Pace Report for Director of Catering 

 
 
General requirements 

• Minimum 1 years' experience in the similar role 
• Knowledge of Banquet Event Order (BEO), Function diary, Event details, Billing instruction, Administration is preferred
• Excellent command of English 
• Relevant University Qualifications (e.g. Hospitality Management)
