Contract Junior Graphic Designer

Responsible for product & marketing materials execution works, such as layout design, photo editing, etc. to generate customer interest and uplift brand equity, using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness with luxury standards

Key Accountabilities 

•  Work closely with Senior Design Manager, Design Team, Marketing & Product teams to ensure required graphics are created in a timely manner and within Peninsula standards
•  Generate design layouts/ artworks that are ready for use by manufacturers or printers in standard graphics image file formats for printed material  such as POPs, Menus and Backstamps
•  Generate design layouts for Online usage such as commercial banners, EDM
•  Picture Editing such as Mood Shots, Product Shots and Social Shots to meet Peninsula aesthetic standards
•  Creates original images and designs by using computer graphics as well as traditional hand skills of drawing and painting
•  Keep abreast of developments in Design programmes
•  Can be involved in Product design and Packaging design
•  Any other tasks or projects as assigned by Senior Manager, Graphic Design

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic design or other related disciplines
• At least 3 years working experience in graphic design
• Familiar with Printing and Packaging Industry
• Experience in Luxury field is a plus  
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, After Effects etc
• Familiar with photo shooting
• Self-motivated, creative thinking, detailed minded, outgoing, presentable and have initiative to deliver the best quality of work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English & Cantonese
• Basic command of both written and spoken Mandarin
• Interest in food and food industry
