Accounts Receivable Clerk

Business Unit:  The Quail
Location:  Carmel-by-the-Sea

Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking a Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our Accounting department

In this position, you will:

  • Work for a highly prestigious hotel located in sunny Carmel Valley, California.

Key Accountabilities

  • Complete all tasks pertaining to monthly billing, research discrepancies, maintain and reconcile membership accounts

  • Perform daily review of guest ledger accounts, alerting management of potential credit risks and document deficiencies

  • Process credit card charge backs and returned checks on a timely manner

  • Ensure correct daily revenue is posted

 

 

General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or 2 years of similar work experience required

  • Knowledge of accounts receivable sub-ledger systems, preferably ResortSuite and Sun Accounting

  • Experience in Accounting within the hospitality industry preferred

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

 

 

Salary: $25.00 per hour
