First Assistant Golf Professional

Business Unit:  The Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club
Location:  Carmel, CA

This position offers limited time signing bonus of $300 after 90-days of employment!

Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail Lodge & Golf Club, we are seeking a First Assistant Golf Professional to support our Golf department.

  • Work on a renowned golf course located in sunny Carmel Valley, California.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage daily golf staff operations
  • Assist with coordinating details of golf events (scorecards, proximities, pairings, rules sheet, scoreboard, etc.)
  • Supervise Outside Golf team and Golf Shop Assistants
  • Act as back-up to the Head Golf Professional as needed

General Requirements

  • Minimum one year golf staff management and golf operational experience
  • PGA Class A Member in good standing is preferred
  • Experience with Golf Genius Tournament Software and GHIN Handicap system required
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to maintain organization and a positive attitude
  • Prior golf instruction experience a plus
