Event Sales Manager

Business Unit:  The Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club
Location:  Carmel, CA

This position offers limited time signing bonus of $300 after 90-days of employment!



Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail Lodge & Golf Club, we are seeking an Event Sales Manager to support our Sales & Marketing department.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the event sales and detailing efforts for wedding, local/social, charity, community, and other event/catering-related programs
  • Coordination of all event arrangements and detailing of banquet event orders and other internal and external documents and communications
  • Develop and manage the event sales action plan, selling cycle and methodology, and prospective initiatives
  • Assist with sales efforts across the sales and catering departments to ensure maximum yield is achieved
  • Contract and detail all food and beverage programs and act as the liaison between the client and different property operations for all the group needs



General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • Must be available to work Tuesday to Saturday
  • 2 years’ experience in food and beverage and sales. Preferably in the hospitality and/or event sales industry
  • Ability to handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Good organization, project management and both short and long- term planning skills



Salary: $85,000.00 per year
