Assistant Manager, Digital Product and Content

Working alongside a professional team in the Group’s Corporate Head Office, we are seeking an Assistant Manager, Digital Product and Content Operations to join the Sales & Marketing Department based in Hong Kong. This role will support Head Office E-Commerce, Digital Product and Digital Marketing teams in driving global digital content workflows across various owned channels including website, e-mail, and digital ad units, as well as providing support on a number of digital product and e-commerce enhancement projects. The incumbent will support ongoing day-to-day platform optimization efforts including key content changes on Peninsula.com, translation management, and UX/UI modifications, and will be responsible for providing recommended tactics to enhance overall digital channel conversion rates and revenue.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support day-to-day requests from Head Office and Hotels to enhance and modify content across Peninsula’s core direct marketing channels including but not limited to Peninsula.com, direct email campaigns, and other E-Commerce systems.
  • Work with Senior Manager to manage critical enhancements across Peninsula’s core digital channels including website enhancement and redesign projects, room booking and ancillary revenue system modifications, and etc.
  • Work closely with E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Social Media leads and brand teams to develop website content strategies and e-mail marketing strategies that drive brand preference and maximise revenue across business streams.
  • Manage Group e-mail marketing content calendars, review email content and manage pipeline activities to ensure timely e-mail blasts.
  • Maintain website content through the content management system (CMS), and provide hotel teams with website content management guidance and SOPs.
  • Work with relevant Head Office teams and hotel teams for review of digital content to ensure content quality, accuracy, and general alignment with brand tone and voice across all digital channels.
  • Serve as a key liaison with digital content, product and technology agency partners, and help to monitor timelines and progress.
  • Track spend against budget and handle invoice processing.

 

General requirements

  • University Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in content management, content marketing and project management
  • Proficiency in using Content management system (CMS) software and experience in using analytics tool to analyse website performance
  • Self-starter, team-orientated and highly organised
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
