Guest Relations Executive

Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Tokyo, we are seeking a Guest Relations Executive to achieve the company’s objectives and create a memorable guest experience

※As this position includes certain front desk responsibilities, such as check-in and check-out, you may initially be assigned to front desk operations as part of your career development.

Key Accountabilities

  • Actively engage with guests and provide personalized service using the Peninsula Service Principles to all arrival, in-house, and departing VIPs / other guests
  • Greet and escort guests for in room check in for VIP & car booking arrivals with accuracy
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel offerings, including hotel’s policies and procedures
  • Execute profile maintenance in accordance with company data standards, including updating and merging of existing guest profiles
  • Coordinate with hotel departments in matters regarding input, sharing, and retrieval of guest related data and information.

 

General Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding of hotel operations, systems, technology, and VIP service. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • 2+ years of experience (Preferably Guest Relations / Front Desk background)
  • Diploma or University Degree
  • Knowledge in hotel Property Management System (PMS) and Microsoft office
  • Cultural sensitivity and high emotional intelligence. Discretion and confidentiality in guest matters. Ability to communicate effectively. Flexibility in working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
