Pastry Cook

Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking a Pastry Cook to support our Food & Beverage department.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and hotel standards.
  • Assist in the development of seasonal and special menus.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry workstation
  • Monitor control of the pastry food stores and kitchen equipment and take inventory monthly of these items
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations

 

General Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Cook, Baker, or relevant role in a high-volume kitchen or hotel environment
  • Culinary or pastry degree/certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and kitchen equipment
  • Creative flair and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

 

Salary: $28.05 per hour
