Job Purpose
The Director of Food and Beverage will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of all food and beverage operations. This includes ensuring the highest standards of service and quality, driving revenue growth, and maintaining strong profitability across all outlets.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the Food and Beverage division within established budgets, ensuring profit targets are met and strategic goals are achieved.
- Prepare, review, and analyse financial and operational reports, providing insights and recommendations.
- Maintain exceptional food and beverage quality through regular evaluations and engagement with relevant teams.
- Oversee supplier performance and ensure the integrity and quality of all sourced goods.
- Design and implement sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue across outlets.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Communications team to effectively promote Food and Beverage offerings in line with the annual marketing plan.
- Innovate and develop new food and beverage concepts to enhance guest experiences.
- Ensure strict adherence to all departmental policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Manage performance development across the department, including recruitment, training, appraisal, and succession planning.
General Requirements
- Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- At least 10 years of proven leadership experience, with a focus on talent development and fostering a positive team culture.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and project management capabilities.
- Extensive knowledge of banqueting, fine dining, and beverage operations.
