Senior Manager, Commercial Operations

The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (owner and operator of The Peninsula Hotels, The Repulse Bay and many high-profile assets globally) is currently seeking a high-calibre professional to join our prestigious team as Senior Manager, Commercial Operations. The position will be responsible for maintaining a luxurious retail and office portfolio, supporting tenancy management, to lease administration and relations.

 

The successful individual will be based in Hong Kong and report to the Assistant Director, Global Commercial Leasing.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain strong business relationships with all brands and tenants, ensuring smooth handover and providing operational support as needed.
  • Support CRM efforts while collaborating with tenants and internal stakeholders on marketing initiatives and the wider group's CRM programs, with a view to promoting the premises as the premier retail and office destination, whilst supporting efforts to increase footfall.
  • Prepare commercial budgets, forecasts, market research, and leasing reports.
  • Ensure fitting out plans and E&M drawing submissions comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor the premises and conduct regular inspections to ensure all facilities remain at a high standard and comply with hotel and government regulations, rectifying issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a well-organised departmental information system to ensure efficient documentation and retrieval.
  • Assist the HSH Global Commercial Leasing team with ad hoc assignments.

 

General Requirements

  • University degree holder in Real Estate, Property/Facility Management, Surveying, Business, Marketing, or a relevant field.
  • Prior relevant experience within the real estate sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain relationships with tenants.
  • Keen eye for detail to ensure high standards in luxury retail and office environments.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing initiatives is an advantage.
  • Experience in using the Yardi system is advantageous but not a must.
  • Fluency in English; an additional second language is highly desirable (such as Mandarin or Cantonese)
