Assistant Sales and Events Manager

Business Unit:  The Quail
Location:  Carmel-by-the-Sea

Working alongside our amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking an Assistant Sales and Events Manager to support our Sales & Marketing Department.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential business and target potential prospects
  • Act as property liaison for planning and execution of internal events and groups booked through the sales office
  • Provide administrative support to Sales Managers & DOSM
  • Promptly respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner, including Sales Managers where appropriate.
  • Assist with ensuring that department budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are controlled

 

General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • May be required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to maintain organization and a positive attitude
  • Have good organization, project management, and both short and long-term planning skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of food and beverage industry preferred, as well as understanding of the golf and country club environment

 

Salary: $68,640 - $75,000 per year
