Key Accountabilities

 

  • Assisting the Chef De Partie  with all aspects of the day-to-day operation of this busy kitchen.

  • Produce all food required for the assigned section at the highest standard.

  • Makes sure mise-en-place is completed before serving.

  • Checks the cleanliness and tidiness of stations before, during and after work.

  • Required to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance, (including health and safety / HACCP compliance) of all kitchen equipment, ensuring that produce mise en place is done for services and products are of high quality.  

 
General requirements
 

  • Extensive knowledge of food and ingredients with a high level of creativity.

  • Experience of 2 years within a high volume hotel or restaurant kitchen brigade is essential and preferred.

  • Some level of culinary certifications/qualifications.
