Key Accountabilities

Assisting the Chef De Partie with all aspects of the day-to-day operation of this busy kitchen.

Produce all food required for the assigned section at the highest standard.

Makes sure mise-en-place is completed before serving.

Checks the cleanliness and tidiness of stations before, during and after work.

Required to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance, (including health and safety / HACCP compliance) of all kitchen equipment, ensuring that produce mise en place is done for services and products are of high quality.
General requirements

Extensive knowledge of food and ingredients with a high level of creativity.

Experience of 2 years within a high volume hotel or restaurant kitchen brigade is essential and preferred.

Some level of culinary certifications/qualifications.
