Senior Sale Manager - Reactive

Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Bangkok, we are seeking The Senior Sales Manager – Reactive who assists and performs all sales activities in his/her the area of responsibility, driving sales, developing new accounts while further growing existing ones with specific responsibility of optimizing revenues while representing the hotel according to brand standards; Executes all action plans and strategies as set forth in the marketing plan with special focused on achieving annual occupancy and revenue budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the conversion of the business leads from sales department
  • Implement all sales action plans related to his/her industry zoning area as assigned
  • Solicit, establish and maintain files on major active accounts within his/her responsibility with continuous probing for potential accounts.
  • Plan sales activities to business leads, calling on existing and potential accounts within their specific zones.
  • Provide information on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail. Arrange and accompany clients on Fam/Site inspection tour in the hotel.
  • Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel in major areas through sales solicitation, telephone contact and social networking.
  • Execute all promotional materials as well as keep abreast of direct competitor activities.
  • Handle and reply of general requests (Email, Telephone or through other online platforms)
  • Achieve the conversion ratio set in the budget
  • Assists in preparation of the Marketing Plan
  • Actively participates in achieving the Sales & Marketing budget.
  • Performs such other functions as may be delegated by management from time to time

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent hotel management courses with hotel operations
  • Minimum 4 years in a similar or relevant field
  • Good knowledge of computer skills i.e. Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
